NEC statement on timely disbursement of county funds

The National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has expressed concern over continued delays in disbursement of county allocations.

The Committee notes that delayed transfers disrupt the delivery of health, water and early childhood education services in counties that depend almost entirely on the equitable share.

PDP calls for adherence to the disbursement schedule approved by Parliament and for public reporting of any variance.
